MANUFACTURING PROCEDURE
All Fischer products are manufactured & processed to the required quality in our plant in an area of 2 Acre plot with more than 40000 Sq.ft of constructed building. At Fischer, products are processed to label specification using right equipments, to ensuring that the quality begins right from the selection of raw material, Fischer adopts total quality management concepts and internal standards for finished products are stringent than the label specification. Fischer is one among the very few players in the market that possess state of the art manufacturing facilities to produce quality laboratory chemicals to compete with other reputed companies. Fischer manufacturing unit is divided into four compartments and each compartment has got well defined role and they are:
1. ACID DISTILLATION BLOCK: Acids like Hydrochloric, Nitric, Sulfuric etc. are distilled using Glass distillation assemblies. In this block, mineral acids are bought in bulk in tankers. They are treated for impurities in batches using chemical means and they are subjected to distillation. Distilled product is tested for quality in our laboratory before packing in our regular packs.
2. SALT PROCESSING BLOCK: In this block all inorganic and Organic salts are processed /manufactured using the following equipments.
Ø Stainless Steel reaction vessel
Ø Rubber lined reactors
Ø Glass lined evaporators
Ø Ammonia Purging vessels
Ø Centrifugers
Ø Driers
Ø Pulverizers etc.
Salts are processed using recrystallization methods, industrial/ commercial grade salts are dissolved in deminaralised water or appropriate solvents to remove any suspended or undissolved impurities. Further depending on the product and grade for which it is processed, chemical treatment will be given to improve on specification on purity and for reducing the impurity levels. After the treatment, the liquid is filtered and concentrated in reaction vessels and centrifuged and the collected wet product is dried depending upon the nature. During this process, quality of the processed product is tested in laboratory for critical parameters and based on the results, corrective action is taken. Once the laboratory passes the quality for the finished product, the same is kept in bulk pack and is packed in regular packs depending on the need.
3.SOLVENT PROCESSING BLOCK: In this block, all solvents are processed using fractional
1.Utility Equipment Area: In this area Boiler, Thermic fluid heating system, Chilling Plant, DMwater plant is located.
2. Filling / Packing Section: All the finished products are packed in dust free atmosphere using required equipments.
HPLC GRADE SOLVENTS:
1. FISCHER has got dedicated distillation assemblies with lengthy columns(in Height) for processing and manufacturing of highest quality HPLC grade solvents .
2. All our HPLC grade solvents are processed and filtered through 0.2 micron filter.
3. Fischer HPLC grade solvents are filled under controlled atmosphere there by ensuring low absorptionin the respective UV readings .
4. 100% transmittance at the specified nm for all HPLC grade solvents.
5. Some research work involves very low levels of sample and Sensitivity becomes a major factor in the choice of which Brand of HPLC grade of Solvent to use. Our Fischer brand HPLC solvents has extremely low levels of impurities, allowing the smallest sample peaks to be seen with virtually no background from the mobile phase. They are also packed under Nitrogen conditions to prevent any minute contamination.
